As Infinity turns twenty, Managing Director, Trevor Keidan looks back on 20 years of providing first-class financial planning services to clients across Asia.
Humble beginnings
Arriving in Asia in 2002 following a stint in the financial services sector in London, Trevor was shocked by the state of the industry, particularly the inadequate services offered to the expatriate community.
I felt that the expat community here was being ill-served, receiving bad advice and poor service and, in far too many cases, suffering awful financial losses.
I saw an opportunity to fill the gap by nurturing a business which would help expatriates plan successfully for the future with sound advice from knowledgeable and professional financial planners adhering to rigorous working practices. I firmly believe that quality financial planning genuinely makes people’s lives better and a desire to deliver this has been a major driving force throughout my career.
And so, Infinity was born in 2004 with just five employees in two offices.
We may have started small but we have always had a big ambition: to raise the industry bar in Asia.
From the very beginning, we have consistently focused on differentiating ourselves from the competition by providing the professionalism, transparency and first-class customer service that I felt were lacking in the industry.
We have done this by keeping our client’s interests at the heart of the business. This unparalleled commitment continues to be the raison d’être of the company and the USP which sets us apart from our competitors to this day.

Two decades on, we have grown into a fully-fledged, financial services provider with numerous offices operating across Asia and regulated in Hong Kong and Labuan. We are now a team of over 30 – each and every one of us committed to delivering effective solutions to build wealth and financial security for our clients.
Many of them have been loyal to Infinity since the company began and this high level of client retention demonstrates the strength of the relationships we have managed to build and maintain.
