I am a British national. My parents arrived in England from their native Cyprus in the mid 1950s looking for fame and fortune – so of course I naturally continued the family tradition by leaving England to seek mine.

I left England in 1983 to pursue a career in financial services. Now, with almost 30 years of experience in the offshore financial services industry, I am proud to have worked for just three companies in all of that time. During the first ten years I learnt the industry, close to twenty years were spent establishing and running my own company and, following a recent merger with Infinity, I greatly look forward to the next thirty.

I started off with tripping into the Middle East and decided to move to Kuwait in 1985, where I enjoyed five very successful years until Saddam Hussein decided to visit in 1990. I then moved to Gaborone, Botswana (after checking the neighbours out) where I spent four exciting years establishing a network of offices throughout the region. Asia has been my home for the past eighteen years and I have enjoyed living in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai.

I love a challenge – I believe that it’s all about being the best, and I lead by example. I am fortunate enough to be in a job that I love, with every day bringing in another client situation that I can develop a solution for. I’m also not afraid of being a pioneer and going where others fear to tread if it’s the best interest of my clients. To this end, I have spent many years heavily involved in developing a system that combines the latest technology with the best levels of personal service, removing geographical boundaries, and ensuring that I am in constant communication with all of my clients regardless of their location.
